The company enjoys a direct relationship with its audiences not only in contact at performances but also through our FRIENDS OF THEATRE SET-UP scheme. For a donation of £2.50 annually Friends receive an annual mailing which includes a letter from management discussing the year's important events and a list of the season's venues. 1. The John Lewis Partnership (who sponsored the company for 13 years), NatWest, Marks and Spencer PLC, Sainsbury PLC, Arthur Guinness Ltd, Johnson Matthey, Manx Airlines, SAS Scandinavian Airline Systems, British Midland, Sturgeons, Case Communications Ltd of Watford, MidNAG, have been sponsors of the season and of individual venues.

2. Very prestigious Corporate Entertainments have been given using the company's performances by: Imry Holdings Ltd., (over the Rose Theatre, Southwark), Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte, (in Belsay Hall, Northumberland) and KPMG Peat Marwick, Travers Smith Braithwaite, Scottish Provident International, Mercury Asset Management, and Lloyds TSB (at Peel Castle, Isle of Man)

3. Southwest Arts, London Arts, English Tourist Board, Isle of Man Tourist Board and Medina County Council, Isle of Wight have supported Theatre Set-Up with grants in the past. Isles of Scilly Tourist Board, and Manx National Heritage continue their support to the present day.
